02.15.10—Daedalus playwrights Michael Parsons, Jeremy Sony, and Jaclyn Villano have been invited to participate in the Last Frontier Theatre Conference, which takes place May 16–23, in Valdez, Alaska. Caught in the Act playwright Peter J. Roth, has also been tapped for the annual conference, now in its eighteenth year.
01.15.10—Plays by Daedalus playwrights Michael Parsons and Jaclyn Villano are currently being featured in Camino Real Playhouse's ShowOff! 2010 playwrights festival. 01.06.10—Theatre Daedalus welcomes Larry Cole to the cast of Glengarry Glen Ross. Larry will be taking over the role of Baylen in this David Mamet play, opening this March. View the complete cast list.
12.23.09—Theatre Daedalus announces the cast for our production of David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, March 12–27, 2010. The Pulitzer Prize-winning play will be directed by Bo Rabby, Professor Emeritus of Theatre & Dance at Ohio Wesleyan University. View the cast list.
12.20.09—Theatre Daedalus will present a staged reading of The Copper Anniversary by NEOMFA playwright Peter J. Roth as part of the New Years Festival at Wild Goose Creative. The staged reading takes place on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Wild Goose studio, 2491 Summit St., Columbus, Ohio. Tickets are $5 and available through Wild Goose (you may also purchase their weekend pass to attend the entire festival). Peter Roth will be on hand during the discussion following the staged reading, which features John Grote, Tammy Muse, and ensemble members Stefan Langer and Jane Mowder, directed by Jeremy Sony. 12.06.09—Thank you to all the actors who auditioned yesterday at our December Open Auditions. The directors will be in touch in the coming weeks and months if you are called back for a particular show. If you have any questions about the auditions, please contact us. Our next round of open auditions is scheduled for June, in advance of our 2010-2011 season.
12.03.09—Daedalus playwrights Michael Parsons and Jaclyn Villano have been selected for Camino Real's ShowOff! International Playwriting Competition in San Juan Capistrano. Jaclyn was previously chosen for the 2009 festival. Both Michael and Jaclyn will have a play staged during the seven night festival and another play read as part of the festival's reading series. 11.05.09—Open Auditions for the 2009–2010 season will be held Saturday, December 5, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., at the Westerville Electric Division, 139 E Broadway Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. Actors, ages 18 and up, should write to Artistic Director Jaclyn Villano at jaclyn.villano@theatredaedalus.com or call 574.904.1388 to schedule an audition. Please prepare two contrasting monologues and bring a headshot and resume to auditions. Our slate of shows includes Edward Albee's Three Tall Women, David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, and David Ives' All in the Timing. We will also be looking at actors for our new quarterly reading series, slated to premiere in 2010.

09.10.09—Congratulations to ensemble member Dale Bush on being cast in Run for Your Wife at Curtain Players. He will be taking on the role of Bobby in this British romp, under the direction of fellow ensemble member Tim Browning. The curtain rises October 23
08.25.09—Theatre Daedalus ensemble member Kim Sanders appears with Actors' Theatre in As You Like It through September 6th. The Dispatch's Michael Grossberg names her one of "the most vivid supporting players," as she brings multiple characters to life with puppets, Avenue Q-style, in this Shakespeare comedy.

Theatre Daedalus announced the creation of its Board of Directors, in continuing with their plan to grow into their second season and beyond.
